A-10 Warthog ARF with Ducted Fans

plane aeromodeling

Product Description
Known as the Warthog because of its unusual shape, the A-10 is the first Air Force jet specially designed for close ground support. It’s armed with Maverick and Sidewinder missiles and 30mm Gatling guns that can fire nearly 4000 rounds a minute. It comes in "low and slow", allowing it to sneak up on ground targets like tanks and other armored vehicles. And, since first being deployed in 1976, the A-10 has proven a formidable foe against forces in the Gulf War and currently in Afghanistan.

Now GWS is evincing that patriotic spirit with its new A-10 Twin Ducted-Fan Park Flyer, the first ARF to display GWS’ new twin EDF50 ducted-fan motors. With its all-injection molded foam construction and realistic military semi-scale appearance, there’s no question of the A-10’s cool factor. But when you see its aerobatic performance and stability at the flying field, even in minimal wind conditions, it’s easy to understand why the new A-10 Twin Ducted-Fan Park Flyer is so hotly anticipated by today’s most avid enthusiasts.
